About Us

Conscious Lifestyle Clinic was founded by Dr. Silja Sudhir, who has more than two decades of experience as a Family Medicine Physician.

​

She graduated with an MBBS from Pt JNM Medical college, Raipur (Chhattisgarh) and did her Diploma in Family Medicine from Med varsity which is affiliated to RCGP, UK and Apollo Hospitals.

​

She is also Board Certified from International Board of Lifestyle Medicine (DipIBLM) and a member of Indian Society of Lifestyle Medicine (ISLM).

​

She has been constantly updating her skills attending various courses which include:

​

  • Certified in Plant Based Nutrition from T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies, Cornell University

  • ACE certified Health Coach and Weight Management Specialist

  • Culinary Health Education Fundamental Coaching- Beyond the Basics by Harvard Medical School

  • The Ultimate Cooking Course by Forks Over Knives

  • Yoga Instructor Course from SVYASA, Bengaluru

  • Consultation Training workshop under the guidance of the founder of SHARAN, Dr. Nandita Shah

Currently, since about five years she is more focused on ‘preventive care’.

During her years of practice as a family medicine physician, she felt the need to address the root cause of lifestyle related chronic medical conditions. She has witnessed many inspiring stories of disease reversal, life-changing transformations, and empowerment. Her experience has convinced her that lifestyle changes have the power to transform not only the lives of individuals but also the healthcare system as a whole.

With her customized wellness programs, she has empowered many clients to make lifestyle changes leading to optimal health. Through these programs ,clients develop self-efficacy and are able to prevent, bring remission or reduce medications in chronic conditions like obesity, type 2 diabetes mellitus, coronary heart disease, stroke, PCOS, and certain autoimmune conditions. The Process

Step 1: Initial Consultation - During the initial consultation, we will discuss your medical history, lifestyle habits, and any health concerns you may have. This will help us gain a better understanding of your current health and identify areas that may need attention. A thorough health assessment to evaluate your current health status will be done. This assessment may include tests such as blood pressure, body composition, blood glucose levels, cholesterol levels and other required lab investigations.

Step 2: Health Coaching- Helping build self- efficacy to make lifestyle changes in required areas like dietary intake, physical activity, stress management, sleep quality and positive social connections. Goal setting will also be done.

​

​Step 3: Follow-Up Consultations - To ensure that you are making progress and achieving your health goals, we will schedule follow-up consultations with you. During these consultations, we will review your progress and make any necessary adjustments to your lifestyle change plan.

Step 5: Ongoing Support – We are committed to supporting you throughout your health journey. If you have any questions or concerns, you can always reach out to us for guidance and support.
